Women's bodywork

Why I focus on women’s bodies.

Women’s bodies change in ways standard care often skips. This work meets those seasons.

A neutral female pelvis and healthy lumbar curve
The female pelvis carries so much and gets asked about so little.

A lot of my practice is women, and that is on purpose. Women’s bodies move through seasons, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, that ask a great deal and rarely get careful, structural attention.

The seasons standard care skips

Postpartum, the core and pelvis reorganize and most people get a six week clearance and not much else. Perimenopause, connective tissue changes and the aches that follow get waved off. These are exactly the moments structural work has the most to offer, and they are the ones that get the least.

The carrying posture shows up across seasons. We read it and unwind it.

How I meet them

Slow, skilled, unhurried work, paced to your body. The pelvis carries so much and gets asked about so little, and it deserves real attention.

Women’s bodies do enormous things. They deserve care that actually meets the moment.

This is some of my favorite work, because the need is real and the response is so often profound.

The short version
  • Women’s bodies move through seasons that need structural care.
  • Postpartum and perimenopause are underserved and very workable.
  • The female pelvis carries a lot and deserves real attention.
  • The work is slow, skilled, and paced to you.
